Zendiggi Kebab House closed its doors May 31st of 2026 amid massive and heartfelt community support to stay open. The Zendiggi owners fought till the very last moment. Things didn't work out. A lease didn't get renewed. A great community favorite restaurant closed but its spirit lives on, looking perhaps for a new home some time in the future.
In many ways Closter Hub is a love letter, a work of love to the community that supported us so fervently.

Four succulent lamb chop and 5 jumbo tiger shrimp. Marinated and grilled over our open fire. All over a bed of fluffy Persian style basmati rice.

Marinated and stacked. Vertically broiled to absolute perfection. Get it as a sandwich, platter or over a health maxxing salad.

Feed the whole family with one of our all in one family platters. Four skewers of kebab. 2 Skewers of grilled vegitables. Grilled tomatoes. Basmati Rice and Yogurt. Take it home in a half sized catering pan. Dinner perfection.

Our hot sauce has a reputation of being as HOT as it is DELICIOUS. This stuff is not for lightweights...but its flavor pull will eventually make you a high ranking hot sauce enjoyer.

Keivan Tayeb opened Zendiggi Kebab House in 2011 out of his love of the wonderful world of Persian cuisine, especially Kebabs.
Keivan was educated as a Mechanical Engineer at NJIT. He graduated in 2009 in the fallout of the 2008 financial crisis. Jobs were hard to come by so he decided to partner with his Father who had previously owned restaurants.
The place was a smashing success and quickly became a community staple and well respected among those who valued good clean food.
